  1. What is Reporting of Actions?

Reporting of Actions allows the producer to submit electronic documents to state insurance departments pursuant to the Producer Licensing Model Act (PLMA) Section 17 or other similar statutory language regarding the duty and obligation of the producer for the reporting of actions. Participating states have agreed to accept the effective date Reporting of Actions in the Attachments Warehouse effective the date of submission.

 

  1. Who receives the Reporting of Actions?
    1. Participating states will receive the Reporting of Actions. A participating state is one that has agreed to receive and accept the electronic Reporting of Actions as notice for an action against the producer.
    2. States may require additional documentation and if so, will notify producer of additional state requirements.
    3. Participating states are identified on screens and can also be found using the “Participating States” link at the top of the screen.
    4. Participating state(s) will receive an email notice from NIPR listing the Reporting of Actions and documents immediately after submission.
    5. States in which producer has an active license but are not participating will be identified on multiple screens in the application. Producer must notify
      non-participating states directly.

 

  1. Who can access Reporting of Actions?

Any individual or business entity producer that has an active resident license on the Producer Database (PDB) may access Reporting of Actions.

 

  1. How can I access Reporting of Actions?

Go to the NIPR website (www.NIPR.com) and click on the Reporting of Actions link located under Attachments Warehouse header on the left side of the page.

 

  1. Can I upload more than one document for my Reporting of Action?

Yes, you may upload as many documents as necessary for your Reporting of Actions.

 

 

 

  1. Why were my documents not saved?
    1. You may have logged-out of the application, closed your browser or had 30 minutes of browser inactivity, which led to your session ending.

 

  1. Why did I receive an e-mail regarding a change to my Reporting of Actions account with NIPR?
    1. A new Reporting of Action has been added.
    2. A new document associated to an existing Reporting of Action has been added.
    3. You may use the link provided to sign-in and view all information in your account.

 

  1. Why are there documents under my identification in the Attachments Warehouse and/or Reporting of Actions when I have not submitted any?

In addition to the producer, NIPR allows authorized submitters to upload documents to the Attachments Warehouse on the producer’s behalf.

 

  1. How can I delete a document or make changes to information in the Attachments Warehouse?

No changes or deletions are allowed once a document has been submitted to the Attachments Warehouse.

 

  1. How long are documents retained in the Attachments Warehouse?

Documents are accessible from the Attachments Warehouse for ten (10) years.

 

  1. What electronic file formats are accepted?

Currently only the following electronic file formats are accepted:

Google Docs (word processing) can be saved as *.doc
