Resident Initial Licensing

License Printing

Arkansas does not offer online license printing. Licensees must contact the state.

State Specific Individual Requirements for initial application

Every individual applicant for an Arkansas resident insurance producer license must meet the following requirements:

  • Background question documentation can be submitted via the NIPR's Attachments Warehouse.
  • Applicant must be eighteen (18) years old or older as determined from the applicant’s date of birth.
  • Applicant must not have an inactive resident or non-resident license in Arkansas.
  • Applicant must submit a business e-mail address.
  • Arkansas does not allow applicants to apply for adjuster licenses electronically.
  • Canadian citizens cannot apply for a resident license electronically.

State Specific Business Entity Requirements for initial application

Every business entity applicant for an Arkansas resident insurance producer license must meet the following requirements:

  • Background question documentation can be submitted via the NIPR's Attachments Warehouse.
  • Applicants applying for surplus lines business entity license must have a DRLP actively licensed for surplus lines producer license class.
  • Applicant must not have an inactive resident or non-resident license in Arkansas.
  • Applicant must submit a business e-mail address.
