Designated Responsible Producers (Business Entity Only)
The Designated Responsible Producers screen is used to identify one or more producers designated or otherwise responsible for this business entity's compliance with relevant state insurance laws, rules, and regulations:
A Designated/Responsible Licensed Producer (DRLP) must, at minimum hold (or cumulatively hold if there are multiple DRLPs) the lines of authority that the business entity itself is applying for.
For each DRLP provided, the following information is required:
- Last Name: The last name of the producer.
- First Name: The first name of the producer (not required).
- SSN/NPN: Either the Social Security Number (SSN) or National Producer Number (NPN) is required. Some states may specifically require the SSN.
- State: The relevant state being applied to with this application.
The "Add More" button can be used to provide additional entities. You may add both individual and firm entities to this page.
Please Note: Some states or jurisdictions may require that Designated/Responsible Licensed Producers be an owner, officer, director, or partner of the business entity. For a list of such states, please see the Matrix of State Requirements located at www.nipr.com.
